5 Words of the Work Week
Goal: To fit word of the day into common conversion
Deceptive (Adjective)– perceptually misleading
Example: The kids became deceptive to the brainwashing commercials on TV.
Ideology (Noun)– The body of doctrine, myth, belief, etc., that guides an individual, social movement, institution, class, or large group.
Example: In 2015, police and racist are still killing African Americans due to ideology and this 400 year old mind-set, that is deeply rooted in America’s confounds.
Uitwaaien (Verb) Dutch– “To take a break to clear one’s mind”
Example: Everyday during her job, the woman made a conscious effort to look out the window and uitwaaien.
Lethologica (Noun)– The inability to remember a word or put your finger on the right word
Example: When the teleprompter broke, the speaker entered a state of lethologica and they have to end the speech.
Perfidious (Adjective)– Deliberately faithless; treacherous; deceitful:
Example: The perfidious boy, was very insecure.
