Pensive (Adjective) – Engaged in, involving, or reflecting deep or serious thought.
Example: The musician took part in a pensive interview.
Quixotic (Adjective) – exceedingly idealistic; unrealistic and impractical.
Example: The Harry Potter movies are quixotic, however, the culture that they have created as a whole is real.
Mimicry (Noun) – The action or art of imitating someone or something, typically in order to entertain or ridicule.
Example: Kevin Hart is a master of mimicry and impressions.
Gentrification (Noun) – The buying and renovation of houses and stores in deteriorated urban neighborhoods by upper- or middle-income families or individuals, thus improving property values but often displacing low-income families and small businesses.
Example: The five points went through gentrification, and the families that had been living there for over 20 years, were slowly pushed out because of the rise of property value.
Expeditious (Adjective) – Characterized by promptness; quick.
Example: The expeditious meeting ended before the baseball game started.
