Goal: Fit word of the day into common conversation


Melodic (Adjective) – Of, having, or producing melody; pleasant-sounding; melodious

Example: The melodic jazz music produced by Dizzy Gillespie has made him a legend.  


Impenetrable (Adjective) – impossible to pass through or enter.

Example: The offensive line was impenetrable; the quarterback was not sack all game.


Momentous (Adjective) – (of a decision, event, or change) of great importance or significance, especially in its bearing on the future.

Example: The family celebrated the momentous occasion by drinking a bottle of champagne.


Urbanity (Noun) – suavity, courteousness, and refinement of manner.

Example: The most interesting man in the world is known for his urbanity.


Ostracize (Verb) – to exclude, by general consent, from society, friendship, conversation,privileges, etc.

Example: The subject was ostracized and exiled from the kingdom for attempting to overthrow the king.
