M.O.U.S.E. Book Club: June Edition
Each month, M.O.U.S.E. will provide an excellent book to read for our avid bibliophile (lover of books) and people that want to improve their minds.
The inaugural manuscript in this installment of M.O.U.S.E. Book Club, is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This self-help book released in October of 1936, is a book that has helped people get out of the mindset that plagued America during the Great Depression. The timeless principles presented in this book, will aid anybody that wants to improve their interpersonal relationships will any and all people.
Principles such as “remember that a person’s name is, to that person, the sweetest and most important sound in any language,” as well as “be hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise,” along with numerous others presented in this book, will forever be essential character traits to possess.
Multibillionaire philanthropist Warren Buffett himself, said that the certificate that he received from completing Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People course is the only diploma he has hanging in his office because of the lasting effects the book had on his life (note that he has a Master of Science in economics from Columbia University).
This same book can impact your life if you are ready to embark on the course.
