Monday
Inimitable (Adjective) – Incapable of being imitated or copied; surpassing imitation; matchless.
Example: Michael Jordan was known for having an inimitable scoring ability.
Tuesday
Swoon (verb) – Faint from extreme emotion.
Example: When Dante Lee won the gold medal at the olympics, he swooned.
Wednesday
Aptitude (Noun) – A natural ability to do something.
Example: Kevin Hart’s ability to make people laugh is his aptitude.
Thursday
Platonic (Adjective) – (Of love or friendship) intimate and affectionate but not sexual.
Example: The couple had a platonic relationship; they loved late night conversations about future ambitions.
Friday
Manumission (Noun) – Release from slavery or other legally sanctioned servitude; the giving of freedom; the act of manumitting.
Example: Although people will say that the emancipation proclamation was the manumission of slaves, it was not until the ratification of the 13th amendment that slavery was officially abolished in America.
